Crock pot - Roast!

Sorry these pictures are full of steam. We were in a hurry to eat! This is in the words of Ron Propeel this is a set it and forget it meal! Kroger's had Black Angus roasts on sale.
4 pound Black Angus roast
2 cans of beef broth
1 bag of mini carrots
1 large can of petite diced tomatoes
1 box of beefy onion soup mix- us both packets
1 white onion dice
2 whole garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
1 pack of sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cub red wine ( I used Cabernet!)
salt and pepper
Put everything into the crock pot on low and let cook for 8 or more hours. You do not even need to brown the meet!It is very flavorful! I like mine served in a bowl over mashed potatoes. Jason likes his over dinner rolls with the potatoes on the side. This is great to throw together when you have to work late!

Pot roast is always a great thing! We did one yesterday after the boys played in the first snow of the year and it couldn't have been better. I rocked that plate! ;)

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
