I would like to bid a sad farewell to Gourmet magazine! I have immense fondness for this publication. Ruth Reichl is a visionary. Gourmet was style, knowledge; tempered with instruction, a visually stunning icon and a plain old great read and resource! It is hard to believe that Conde Nast will no longer publish Gourmet. We seem to have plenty of magazines filled with useless crud. This foodie is understanding of the economy, but do we need more tell all mags? Maybe sometimes fanciful escapes come tempered with teach ability are just what we all need.....Sorry to go on and on.
