|Rub the glaze into the ham!|
|Right out of the oven!|
1/2 cup of dark brown sugar
1/4 cup of spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoons of orange juice concentrate
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of coarse ground black pepper
5 dashes of hot sauce
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cut your ham an inch deep in a cross hatch pattern. Rub your glaze into the ham. Cover with aluminum foil. In a baking pan place ham in a 350 degree oven. Bake for 30 minutes covered. Uncover and baste with the glaze. Continue to cook for 20 more minutes.
We enjoy this quick and easy ham. No need for a holiday. I usually reserve some to cube. A couple of cups for bean soup and 1 cup for asparagus & swiss omelets. Enjoy! Remember, you can ROCK THAT PLATE!
